On October 14, 2023, CONCE Consultants in Foreign Trade and Customs, approved the audit carried out by CELC (Coalición Empresarial Pro Libre Comercio), based on the

TPAT and OEA standards. It is necessary that CONCE is updated in its procedures of Physical Security, Personnel, Logistics and Cybersecurity to give certainty to its customers as an important part of the supply chain.

CTPAT stands for Customs Trade Partnership Againts Terrorism. It is a control strategy created by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) that seeks to strengthen international supply chains and improve U.S. border security.

This program is a voluntary cooperation between the private sector and the U.S. government to provide security levels to merchandise entering through U.S. customs and benefits all participants in the global supply chain such as importers, carriers, customs brokers, exporters, etc.

CTPAT members have many benefits, including close involvement with their clients of working against terrorism. By having this certificate you get:

• Reducing the number of inspections conducted by Customs and Border Protection.
• Possible exception of stratified analyses.
• Shorter waiting time at borders.
• Access to the free and secure trade lane at land borders.
• Preference for other pilot programs conducted by the U.S. government.
• Priority to summarize your company’s activities after a natural disaster or terrorist attack.

Authorized Economic Operator (OEA) is a global accreditation to prove compliance with certain security-related measures and good practices in the international supply chain of goods.

Economic operators that meet the criteria for OEA status are considered reliable partners in the supply chain.

There are two types of accreditations:

• Simplifications laid down in customs legislation (AEOC)
• Customs controls relating to safety and security (AEOS)
